MOEBEER was founded by Mohamed Aljaqbeer — designer, craftsman, and the person behind every piece of art you wear. The story doesn't start in a print shop. It starts in a design studio, a woodworking workshop, and a professional kitchen — and ends with a decision to stop building other people's visions and start creating his own.
A Background Built on Making Things
Mohamed graduated in interior design, spending years designing houses, restaurants, and retail spaces. Alongside his design work, he was creating art — painting and composing original pieces that would later become the foundation of the brand.
When MOEBEER came to life, Mohamed developed a new discipline: digitally designing Arabic calligraphy, crafting each script to carry a specific meaning and feeling that he couldn't achieve through traditional manual calligraphy. The digital process is intentional — it's how he translates the vision into something wearable. Those pieces are the foundation of every MOEBEER garment today.

During COVID, he taught himself woodworking and joinery from scratch. The craft pulled him in deep enough that he relocated to Oxford to develop it further. On weekends, he picked up shifts at a local café — and found himself fascinated by what the head chef was producing. The chef noticed, took him under his wing, and taught him the basics. What started as a weekend curiosity turned into three years working professionally as a chef.
The Moment Everything Changed
The hospitality industry is relentless. Sixteen-hour days, back to back, no end in sight. One day in the kitchen, Mohamed had a complete breakdown. That was the end of it.
After a few weeks of recovery, one thought kept coming back:
"Create something for yourself. Focus on the art that brings emotions and brings people together."
